In short: Mindpop does not ask you to create an account, does not show ads, and does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. Everything you do in the app is stored on your own device.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not request your name from any account, email address, phone number, contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, microphone, camera, or advertising identifiers. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile on any server we control.

Thirteen Labs Studio operates no servers that receive gameplay data from the App. We cannot see what you play, how you score, or when you open the App.

2. Information stored on your device

So the App can show your progress, it writes the following to a local database (SQLite) inside the App’s private storage on your phone:

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to our servers, not shared with third parties, and not readable by us. If your device has Android’s own backup feature enabled, Android may include app data in your personal Google backup — that is a Google service governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours.

3. Permissions

Mindpop requests no runtime permissions. It does not use location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notifications permissions. Android grants the App standard network access, which is used only for the update check described in the next section.

4. Third-party services

The App is built with Expo. It uses Expo Application Services (EAS) Update to check for app updates. When the App starts, it may contact Expo’s update servers and send technical information needed to serve the right update — such as the app version, runtime version, platform and device characteristics, plus the IP address inherent to any internet request. This request contains no personal information and no gameplay data. See Expo’s privacy policy.

The App is distributed through Google Play. Google collects installation, crash and device data as part of operating the store and the Android platform, under Google’s privacy policy. We receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics from Google Play Console (for example install counts and crash reports); these cannot identify you.

Mindpop contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no social login and no in-app purchases. We do not sell or share any data, because we do not have any to sell or share.

5. Children’s privacy

Mindpop is suitable for all ages and contains no ads or purchases. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us at mindpop@mehedisarkar.com and we will address it promptly.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as the App is installed. You are in control of it at all times:

Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you have any question about deletion, write to mindpop@mehedisarkar.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Game data is stored in the App’s private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps. Since no personal data is transmitted or stored remotely, there is no server-side database of users to be breached.

8. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data held about you. Thirteen Labs Studio holds no personal data about Mindpop users, so these requests are satisfied by the device-side controls in section 6. You may still contact us with any privacy question and we will answer.

9. Changes to this policy

If the App ever starts collecting data — for example if we add optional cloud sync — we will update this policy, change the effective date above, and describe the change clearly before the feature ships. The current version always lives at https://mindpop.mehedisarkar.com/privacy/.
